Wanza's Designs launch its 2014 collection"Mwanza" at the launch of Guyana Fashion Weeek 2013

With a combination of blues and ethnic prints , Wanza's Designs  displayed some sample pieces  set for  his up coming  collection for Guyana Fashion Week 2013.
Along with a sketch illustrated by the  talent fashion illustrator Clinton Duncan , and a dressed mannequins, Wanza's Designs has brought to the table Afro Couture at its utmost best. It includes a combination of Stretch Taffeta , satin ribbons and ethic prints combining to make masterpieces that represents pages , chapters and even characters of my life.

 I had the task to dress and style the C.E.O of GFW, Ms. Sonia Noel for the launch and so did I, with creditable mention from critiques and the C.E.O her self . This experience was delightful, and what was most appreciative is how comfortable she was wearing Wanza's Designs .This collection is set to be a "Wower", crossing the boundary of ethnic clothing so ladies and gentle men look out for "Mwanza "

The silhouette, the curves, the volume of the many dresses I bring to life; along with the many wraps I create, is how I Mwanza Mainza Glenn embrace fashion. Designing, one of my first loves, has been one of the many talents I have displayed since early childhood. Influenced and encouraged mainly by my mother, who sews and has used many of my designs for her customers, I continually persevered in order to enhance my ability as a budding designer. Three tips when choosing pageant gowns

1. Look at the Top 5′s dresses from last year’s pageant, and get inspired! You’re not looking at their dresses to choose your favorite one so you can launch a vicious dress hunt to find one of their exact dresses. You are just looking to get an idea of what is appropriate for that particular pageant. While you are researching the pageant and looking at the top contestants’ dresses, consider these questions: Do all of these dresses have anything in common?
