The silhouette, the curves, the volume of the many dresses I bring to life; along with the many wraps I create, is how I Mwanza Mainza Glenn embrace fashion. Designing, one of my first loves, has been one of the many talents I have displayed since early childhood. Influenced and encouraged mainly by my mother, who sews and has used many of my designs for her customers, I continually persevered in order to enhance my ability as a budding designer. You’re not looking at their dresses to choose your favorite one so you can launch a vicious dress hunt to find one of their exact dresses. You are just looking to get an idea of what is appropriate for that particular pageant. While you are researching the pageant and looking at the top contestants’ dresses, consider these questions: Do all of these dresses have anything in common? Are they all bright colors or are most of the dresses neutral colors? Are the dresses form fitting? Or are the dresses flowy? Are their pageant dresses on the sexier side or more classic? These are just a few things to consider when you choose your dress.
